Off-Broadway Musical Theatre brings “Shrek the Musical” to New Hope this summer. This crowd-pleasing production, based on the popular DreamWorks animated film, is a heartwarming and humorous story about friendship, self-acceptance and embracing what makes us unique.
Performances will take place Wednesdays through Saturdays, July 23 through Aug. 2, at 8 p.m. at the New Hope Performance Center, located at 4401 Xylon Avenue North. All performances are held outdoors, and guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating.
Admission is free, though a suggested donation of $5 per person will help support production costs. Food shelf donations will also be collected on-site.
An American Sign Language (ASL) interpreted performance will be offered on Friday, Aug. 1.
