Fall and Winter Jobs
Basketball Official (November-March)
College age preferred (younger applicants may be considered). Officiate youth or adult basketball games evenings and weekends . Salary: $22-25 per game.
Gym Attendant (Year Round)
Must be 16 or older. Provide supervision and security of New Hope Community Gyms. Includes set-up and take-down of equipment for activities, community relations and light maintenance. Salary: $10-11 per hour.
Warming House Attendant (December-February)
Must be 16 or older. Provide supervision of building and light maintenance of outdoor skating rinks. Salary: $10 per hour.
Ice Arena Attendant
Must be 18 or older with valid driver’s license. Perform ice rink maintenance along with other janitorial duties throughout the facility. Evening and weekend shifts available. $10-11.50 per hour.
Zamboni Driver
Must be 18 or older with valid driver's license. Training provided. Also responsible for maintenance duties as assigned. Evenings and Weekends. Salary: $10.50-11.50 per hour.
Spring and Summer Jobs
Baseball (May-August)
Baseball Umpires: Must be 16 or older. Plymouth/New Hope Little League - games start in May (evenings and weekends). Salary: $11-20 per hour.
Softball (April-August)
Adult Softball Umpires: Applicants over age 18 preferred with overall knowledge of the game of softball. Must attend USSSA seminar. Season begins the end of April. Salary: $20-26 per hour.
Playground Leaders (June-July)
Applicants over age 18 preferred. Supervise and monitor organized activities at neighborhood parks. Activities will include games, sports, dramatics, music, nature and crafts. Salary: $10-13 per hour.
Pool (May/June-August)--Not open in 2020
- Assistant Manager: Provide assistance to the Pool Manager in coordinating and overseeing operations at the outdoor pool. Directs the work of seasonal staff. $15-18 per hour
- Head Lifeguard: Provide assistance to the Pool Manager in coordinating and overseeing pool operations in relation to Lifeguard staff. Current certification required. $12.50-14.50 per hour
- Head Water Safety Instructor: Provide assistance to the Pool Manager in coordinating and overseeing pool operations in relation to the swim lesson program. Current certification required. $13-15 per hour
- Guest Services: Provide customer service at front entrance. $10-11.50 per hour
- Concessions: Provide customer service at concessions counter. $10-11.50 per hour
- Lifeguard: Ensure a safe pool environment by enforcing rules, operating pool safety equipment, and administering first aid when needed. Must be age 15 or older. Current certification required. $11.50-13.50 per hour
- Water Safety Instructor: Provide swimming instruction in a safe, positive environment. Current certifications required. $12-13.50 per hour
- Water Safety Assistant: Provide assistance during swim lesson programs. $10-10.50 per hour
- Maintenance: Responsible for the cleanliness and care of the pool facility under the direction of the Pool Manager. $11-13 per hour
