Automatic Payment

Automatic Payment is a no-charge service offered by the city to allow residents to efficiently and automatically pay utility bills each month. After set-up, payment will be deducted from your checking or savings account on the 16th of each month.

To sign up for the Automatic Payment Plan, please fill out and submit the Automatic Payment Plan Request form attached below. Please submit this form AND a voided check to the utility billing department at Public Works. A copy of this form is also available on the back of your most recent utility bill from the city. The automatic payment set-up cannot be completed without you supplying a voided check to the utility billing department.

You will know that your bill will be paid automatically when you see the words "Pre-authorized payment of (amount) will be drawn from your bank on month/16/year" on the top section of your utility bill. Until you see this message on your utility bill, continue to pay the bill as normal. If you have any questions please contact the utility billing department directly.

If you have already set up your Automatic Payment Plan, but would like to change the banking account, please contact the utility billing department directly and submit the form below with the correct information. It is your responsibility to notify the city of any changes to your account that may impact the Automatic Payment plan. If funds are not available or the bank rejects our request for payment for any reason a NSF fee of $30 will be assessed and auto pay will be cancelled.
