New Renters or Tenants
Under New Hope city ordinance, city-issued utility bills must remain in the name of the property owner and cannot be transferred into the name of a renter or tenant. This also means that tenants cannot register for an online account.
Renters can pay their New Hope utility bill online with a customer and account number as a one-time payment. City-issued utility bills can be paid by credit card (Visa or MasterCard), PayPal, Venmo, electronic check, in person, mail-in, bank bill pay or over the phone by calling 844.869.3219. On the Rental Property Utility Bills page, tenants and landlords can find additional information about utility bills for rental properties.
See the information below for different contacts and webpages for other various utilities. Check with your rental agency or the homeowner to determine your responsibilities as a renter for other utilities.
