Project Information:
At the March 25, 2024 City Council meeting, a contract for the 2024 Infrastructure Improvement Project was awarded to GMH Asphalt Corporation. This project will begin in the spring of 2024. A map of impacted streets can be viewed below. Residents on streets impacted by project improvements will receive further details in the mail. 

The project map identifies streets scheduled for both reclaim and overlay, and mill and overlay pavement improvements. A reclaim and overlay improvement involves grinding down the entire pavement section of the roadway down to the underlying gravel base. Roadways will remain gravel while the contractor performs subgrade repairs on the road base. Roadways will then be re-paved with a full new section of pavement. Mill and overlay road improvements involve removing only the top two to three inches of pavement. Roadways will still have a paved driving surface while the contactor performs subgrade repairs on the road base. Following subgrade repairs the underlying asphalt, the road will be re-paved.
