Council Adopts State Performance Measures
Posted on 05/17/2023
New Hope City Council adopted resolutions implementing the state performance measures and approving a community-wide survey at its May 8 meeting.
In 2011, the Minnesota Legislature’s Council on Local Results and Innovation released a standard set of ten city performance measures. The markers aid in measuring the public perception and effectiveness of services the City provides. New Hope has participated in the program through the City’s annual survey since its inception. The City conducts a professional telephone survey with a random community sample every five years and a community-wide paper and online survey for other years.
New Hope City Council discussed the survey at its February work session and supported participating in the 2023 performance measures survey program. Last year, Morris Leatherman Company conducted a professional survey.
Surveys will be distributed in July with both paper and online versions available. Those receiving City utility bills will receive a paper copy with their monthly invoice. Survey submittals are open until Oct. 1.
