City Day and Fire-Rescue Open House

City Day and West Metro Fire-Rescue Open House Return to New Hope on Oct. 9
Posted on 09/15/2021
New Hope City Day will return after a three-year hiatus on Saturday, Oct. 9. The event is a great opportunity to have some fun while learning about what’s going on in the city. Similarly to past years, City Day is being held in collaboration with the West Metro Fire-Rescue District (WMFRD) Open House and West Metro Fire Auxiliary waffle breakfast fundraiser.

The open house event, scheduled from 9 a.m. until noon, provides community members with a chance to have an informal chat with New Hope City Council members or city staff and to learn about city programs, services and projects.

There will be lots of fun activities for the whole family at both events including police, fire and public works vehicles, fire department demos, a K-9 demonstration, musical and dance performances and more.

Activities will be held in the New Hope City Center near New Hope City Hall, 4401 Xylon Ave N and the WMFRD Fire Station, next door.
