Did you know that New Hope is a "Bee Friendly" city?
On April 23, 2018 the New Hope City Council approved a resolution to become a "Bee Friendly" city. At a 2017 Citizen Advisory Commission (CAC) meeting, representatives from Humming for Bees gave a presentation on bees and pollinators and what citizens can do to protect them. The CAC then recommended that the City Council adopt a resolution supporting pollinators and pollinator habitat in the city of New Hope.

Note: City of New Hope ordinance states that bee hives must be located 500 feet from any other property and a special permit is required.
