Posted on 06/29/2021
New Hope’s 2021 City Services Survey is now open. Surveys were included with July’s city utility bills. New Hope residents are encouraged to complete the survey which asks about core municipal service including public safety, utilities and infrastructure, parks and recreation, communications and code enforcement.

The survey is conducted annually as part of New Hope’s participation in the State of Minnesota’s Performance Measurement Program. In 2011, the Minnesota Legislature’s Council on Local Results and Innovation released a standard set of ten performance measures for cities. The markers aid in measuring the public perception and effectiveness of services provided by the city.

In April, the New Hope City Council supported the addition of three new questions to the 2021 survey related to the New Hope Aquatic Park and Civic Center Park, distribution and consumption of city-related information and the COVID-19 pandemic.

Residents who do not receive a city utility bill, or those who prefer to complete the survey online, may weigh in at All surveys should be completed and returned by Oct. 1.
