Performance Center

The New Hope Performance Center is located at 4401 Xylon Ave N (just west of the New Hope Aquatic Park). The performancefront of performance center center hosts music in the park, city programs and special events, and is home to the Off Broadway Musical Theatre.

Camping Cowgirl - Wednesday, June 16

All ages are welcome to meet the Camping Cowgirl and her toy friends, learn about treating your toys with care, and feel free to bring your own favorite small toy! The Cowgirl will also share about her favorite summer activity, camping, as we build a pretend campfire and learn a campfire song.

Acting Camps for Kids

*Due to a schedule conflict, Acting Camp will be held at the Becker Park Stage in Crystal.

Participants will develop as actors by learning a script and preparing for a performance. On Friday, August 6 at 7 p.m., they will put on a performance for family and friends complete with costumes, props, makeup and scenery. Instructor is Linda Bruning, who is assisted by Cyan Pampuch.

New Hope Summer Theatre
Off Broadway Musical Theatre will present "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" this summer. It's the tale of six awkward youngsters vying for the spelling championship of a lifetime, all the while hoping never to hear the soul-crushing "ding" of the bell that signals a spelling mistake. 

  • Thursdays-Saturdays, July 22-August 7 (American Sign Language date is August 6)
  • 8 p.m.
  • A free will donation of $4 per person is suggested to help cover the cost of production. Food shelf donations for PRISM will also be accepted.
